Instructions

• 1. Organize yourselves so that you are sitting in
  your groups.
• 2. Each group should have access to at least 3
  computers.
• 3. Group members should be able to easily discuss
  things with each other in this set up.

• 4. Each person at a computer should have an
  electronic version of the 3 handouts
• EBP Group Website Assignments
• EBP Website Rating Form
• Internet Resources
• 5. Access electronically the EBP Group Website
  Assignments
• 6. You will notice that there is a table with 15
  websites per group.

• 7. The websites assigned to your group number are
  the websites that you will be searching today.
• 8. Access electronically the EBP Website Rating
  Form.
• 9. You will use this form to rate the 15 websites
  assigned to your group.
• 10. When you are finished completing the EBP
  Website Rating Form, each group please email to
  me (schulze_at_uab.edu) 1 completed version of this
  form.

• 11. Suggest that you divide the websites up in an
  organized fashion, so that different people in
  your group are responsible for rating different
  websites.
• 12. Once this Website Rating task is complete, as
  stated preciously, email the completed EBP
  Website Rating Form to me (Schulze_at_uab.edu).
• 13. After the Website Rating task has been
  completed and you have emailed to me your
  completed Website Rating form, continue your
  search of the literature for pertinent articles,
  using the websites that seem to suit your
  clinical question best.

• 14. The final handout, called Internet
  Resources is a master list of all of the EBP
  websites we currently know about. If you cannot
  find something addressing your clinical question
  in your 15 websites, perhaps this list will help
  you find other resources.
• 15. Do not hesitate to raise your hand or ask a
  question if you need assistance.
