  • Objective is to develop an understanding of and
    commitment to the biblical concepts of individual
    and corporate stewardship
  • Not fund-raising
  • Expected outcome is discipleship
  • Possible only through consistent education

Why the Need for Stewardship Education?
  • Some church members have had little or no
    education in Christian stewardship principles
  • Some church members have lost sight of the
    mission of the church
  • Some church members feel that the programs of
    their church are not worthy of their support and
    sacrifice

Conclusion
  • Those who hold positions of trust in the church
    should not be negligent, but they should see that
    the members are faithful in performing this
    duty.Let the elders and officers of the church
    follow the direction of the Sacred Word, and urge
    upon their members the necessity of faithfulness,
    in the payment of pledges, tithes and offerings.
