Email Helps
  • Is it too full?

What is full in your email
  • When your account gets to 15 MB, you will begin
    receiving administrative emails, warning of the
    pending closure.
  • After it gets to 25 MB, you will not be able to
    send or receive any mail.

Using your account with Gmail
  • Create or Sign in to your Gmail account
  • Click on Settings in the upper right hand
    corner
  • Click Accounts in the yellow box
  • In the Get mail from other accounts box, click
    Add another mail account
  • Enter your email address
  • (ex. JON07025_at_byui.edu)

Finish Setup
  • Simply follow the directions and you will be on
    your way to having your BYU-I email in your Gmail
    inbox.
  • Hint By setting up Gmail to send using the BYU-I
    account, you can do all of your emailing from
    Gmail!

Get your email using other services
  • Sign into your BYU-I email using Internet
    Explorer (Firefox will not work for this)

Extra Using Outlook to keep a calendar
  • This is the same whether you use Outlook Web
    Access (the web based BYU-I email) or Outlook on
    your personal computer.

Viewing your Calendar
  • While in Outlook, Click on the Calendar option

Create a new event
Click here to create a new appointment
Select the day of the month here

Use this window to set up an appointment that
happens several times
Use this to set the start and end times for the
appointment
