• Purpose
• To lead Georgias strategic efforts to improve
  the quality and efficiency of health care
  services through the adoption and utilization of
  electronic health information
• To coordinate the states HITT activities, and
  facilitate collaboration among public and private
  health care stakeholders to accomplish the goals
  outlined in Georgias HITT Strategic Plan

Technology

• The Web site is compromised of three major
  technical components
  
• 1. Search for Care Application (SFC) - Allows
  consumers to search for and compare healthcare
  providers using a geographic map user interface
  
• 2. Content Management System - Stores
  MayoClinic.com content and allows DCH to manage
  additional content for the website
  
• 3. Health Data Warehouse - Operational database
  that stores profile, cost, and quality data to be
  used by the SFC application
