USMC PROGRAM UNIQUENESS

• USMC VolEd and Library services are conjoined.
• Services are delivered in union by Headquarters
  for Lifelong Learning (HQLL), installation
  libraries, and the library website.
• Programs are adjusted to meet the needs of
  Marines and family members on a deployment tempo.
  
• Unfunded Deficiency requests and Global War on
  Terror (GWOT) funds have supplemented the budget
  for deployment and combat areas.

  fiscal year.

• AeX is a web based tool for assisting students
  with exploring and identifying their
  post-secondary education options in an unbiased,
  standardized, and comprehensive manner, anytime,
  anywhere.
• AeX is an open platform and can be used by other
  services.

SCHOLARSHIP AND FINANCIAL AID EXPLORER (SFEX)

• SFeX helps users quickly identify scholarship
  and financial aid offerings that best meet their
  needs.
• Search and evaluate Scholarships and financial
  aid options using a variety of search criteria
  including Keywords Scholarship Name,
  Scholarship Type, Scholarship Sponsor, Degree
  Level Branch of Service and other criteria.

MONTGOMERY GI BILL (MGIB)

• Veterans Affairs Education Benefits Program
• The Montgomery GI Bill provides an educational
  assistance program to assist in the readjustment
  of members of the Armed Forces to civilian life
  after their separation from military service.
• Tuition Assistance Top-Up MGIB-AD benefit that
  pays tuition costs not covered by tuition
  assistance.
