Management System. This PowerPoint presentation
is designed to step you through some of the key
aspects that Wincollect offers. To move through

at some of the Technology behind Wincollect.

The Technology behind Wincollect
Wincollect is built for platforms that have set
the standards within the Information Technology
arena. Platforms that lead the development of new
technologies and set new benchmarks for
performance and productivity. Add to this the
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database technology and
you have a product that truly leverages off a
powerful package to ensure scalability for even
the most demanding collections environments.

The Technology behind Wincollect
Access to your data is an essential element of
any database system. With more than 500 Stored
Procedures, Triggers and Views, Wincollect
unleashes the power of SQL Server directly to
Database Administrators. The SQL Query Analyzer
provides direct access to the Database Tables or
you can use ODBC to access the database through
various third party tools.
One of the worlds leading third party reporting
tools has long been the Crystal Reports suite of
products. Wincollect comes pre-packaged with a
range of Crystal Reports for immediate use or you
can create your own crystal reports with any of
the data in Wincollect. Crystal Reports intuitive
wizard makes report writing simple.

Wincollect Enterprise Suite
Lets now review the main applications that come
as a part of Wincollect Enterprise Suite.

• Wincollect
• The main application in the Suite Wincollect
  provides the user interface for the day to day
  collections operations.
• WCLoader
• The Loader is a a generic application that allows
  data to be received in electronic format from
  your clients.
• WCSecurity
• Provides the Interface to establish the User
  Access Privileges to Wincollect.
• WCBatchPrint
• Bulk printing of letters via Microsoft Word
  (including outsourcing) is controlled within this
  application.
• Web-collect.net
• Provides the client access application via ISAPI
  through a web browser.

Wincollect Enterprise Suite
This section will review a few of the data entry
screens that are available in Wincollect.
This section will review the Debtor System in
Wincollect.
This section will review Web-collect.net - the
Portal to the Wincollect Database .
Wincollect provides a wide range of data fields
that can be used to store information that is
relevant for both the Debt and the Debtor. In
addition to standard data entry fields a number
of custom fields are present that allows the user
to create special data entry fields
The Debtor System is the central resource for
collectors to view and work on accounts within
Wincollect.
Web-collect.net is the realtime web browser
interface to the Wincollect database. It provides
seamless access for your clients to review
accounts placed within your agency. As you
update data in Wincollect it is immediately
viewable in Web-collect.net. Whether your
database has Thousands of Debts or Millions,
Web-collect.net is fast and effective.
Data can be entered into Wincollect either
electronically or manually. The next series of
screens reviews the process of creating a totally
customizable import routine. The Wincollect
Loader allows you to create an import
specification for individual client files. Files
can be imported from a variety of delimited and
fixed width formats and various settings allow
you to manipulate the data in the Client file to
enable it to be processed into the Wincollect
database. Once you have created the import
specification file, you can save it for use with
future files you receive. The loader provides you
with a powerful utility to import new accounts
easily. Click in the box to preview the next

Web-collect.net can be customized to display your
companies logos and colors to ensure your
clients experience reflects your image. From the
main menu clients can be granted access through
security settings to enter new debts, review
debts, send a batch of new debts, enter payments
made direct to the client, view reports and edit
their contact information. Click on the image to

With Web-collect.net you can provide your clients
with a detailed review of account activity. Their
ability to access functions from this view is set
within the security of Wincollect. Clients can be
granted access to print a report of the debt,
email the collector, add notes, and review the
information regarding collections activity. Click

This view provides the user with the ability to
select the file and set-up a number of the
initial file conversion requirements that may be
encountered. Typical issues include the Data
Type, various Date formats, Money formats and
Text Qualiifiers. Once this information is
gathered the user progresses through a number of
other utility screens that give a greater variety
of options to manipulate the data. Click on the

This view allows the user to map the data in the
Client file to the data fields in the Wincollect
database. Smart options including Smart Name
processing for files that present the entire
Debtors name in a single column, Assigning
customizable lookups to match predefined data
tables with the client file data and Constant
Values are added to this process to further
enable the user the ability to import the data
into the Database. Click on the image to preview

The Debtor System is an extremely powerful window
that provides a large amount of detail in
relation to a Debt. From custom views of the Debt
Amount for such things as Third and First Party
Collections and Check Collections to Custom links
to third party databases to view external data
sources from the one window. Additionally
collectors work accounts through response codes
that automate screen pops for things such as
making notes, creating a promise to pay, changing
contact information and more. Scripted routines
can automatically schedule new workflows, letters
and other processes from the single response

The Add/Maintain Debt view provides access to the
fields available for recording information. Click

The Debtor view displays personal information
relevant to the Entity that owes the Debt. Click
on the image to preview the next screen.
Clients can also access a wide range of reports
that provide them with up to date information
about the results of your collection activity.
Reports can be printed, downloaded or exported in
various formats including Microsofts Excel
Spreadsheet. To continue, please click the Next
