  • in 3 Years
  • The Low Income Subsidy (LIS)/Extra Help will
    cover
  • between 85 and 100 of the prescription drug
  • costs for individuals who qualify
  • It is estimated that LIS/Extra Help will provide
    the
  • average beneficiary with savings of more than
  • 2,100 annually and 22,000 over their
    lifetimes

  • Only 1.1 million people of the estimated 8.2
    million eligible to enroll voluntarily for the
    LIS/Extra Help have been enrolled
