• Documentary Subsidy of 20 of the eligible
  production budget
• (max. 300.000 )
• Fiction/Animation Subsidy of 12,5 of the
  eligible production budget
• (max. 500.000 )

• sequels/series based on previous projects are
  not eligible

Theatrical release
TV BROADCASTING

• FICTION, ANIMATION
• - Small countries theatrical release allowed
• after first TV broadcasting
• - Big countries no theatrical release allowed
• DOCUMENTARIES
• - Theatrical release allowed
• BUT, still has to be originally a TV project

Apply when?

• At the earliest 6 months before principal
  photography
• At the latest on the day of principal photograhy
• Next deadlines 22nd of February 2008
• 13th of June 2008

Eligibility criteria
TV BROADCASTING

• applicant company majority producer
• at least 3 broadcasters from several states
  participating to the MEDIA program
• 50 of the financing confirmed by Letters of
  commitment or contracts
• min 50 of prod. budget financed by European
  sources

• Rights of the project have to revert to the
  producer after
• - 7 years for presale
• - 10 years for coproduction

• Points will be allocated by the Evaluation
  Committee (with the help of Independent Experts)
  out of a total of 100 on the basis of the
  following weightings

Payments

• 40 after signature of the contract
  confirmation of first day of shooting (NEW)
• 20 with Interim Report contract with main
  broadcaster
• 40 Final Report declaration of the main
  broadcaster copy of the film
