- The Partnership offers a single point of access
to more than 475 public and private patient
assistance programs, covering over 2,500
prescription medicines. - The Partnership for Prescription Assistance
brings together many partners to help low-income,
uninsured patients get free or nearly free
medicines, including - Americas Pharmaceutical Companies
- Health Care Providers
- Patient Advocacy Organizations
- Civic Groups
- The Partnership is dedicated to increasing
awareness of and enrollment in existing patient
assistance programs for those who may be eligible.

national program with state chapters Virginia
has a state chapter. - The Virginia chapter was launched in August of
2005. - The Virginia chapter has 27 Partners including

guidelines. Most programs help those who - Do not have prescription drug coverage
- Fall below 200 of the federal poverty level
(19,500 for a single person and 33, 200 for a
family of three)

- Estimated gross annual household income
- Number of people living in your household
- Names of the medicines that you have been taking
