  authoring tool incorporating the following

• Sound that you have created or captured and
  edited yourself
• Graphics you have created and edited yourself
• Photos that you have taken yourself
• Video that you have recorded and edited yourself
• flash application showing some animation

Creating a Director application

• Building Pages (or Screens)
• Firstly design your pages and space them on the
  timeline (a page to a point in time)
• Secondly add a marker to signpost the page
• Thirdly add a script to make the application
  pause at that page
• To move out of pages add buttons
• We will focus scripting next week

• Cannot re-edit or resize
• Often looks poor (or broken)
• Create text on the Stage itself
• Use the Tool Palette Window Text Tool

• Can adjust colour / font etc.
• Can add a scroll-bar
• Better looking text is created
• Prefer for all body text and titles
