  • It covers 1/3 of the land of Texas. It covers
    the southeast part of Texas.

  • bays, wetlands, and barrier islands. It is flat
    and
  • low. Its good soils along rivers are great for
    farming.

  • hot and damp, humid
  • has tornadoes and hurricanes
  • averages 30-55 inches of rain per year
