ONR CASES
Short Title- Pre-mature termination of the
employee other than normal retirement are coming
in these cases. The reasons for ONR are
Death, Missing, Medical unfit , Voluntary
Retirement Removal , Compulsory Retirement etc.
Action taken for ONR cases- a) On receipt of
intimation of death, acceptance of voluntary
retirement, Medical unfit etc. drawl of Pay and
allowances are stopped in PRIME. b) Memorandum
to the effect of termination of service is
issued immediately by Bill Compiling Officer.
c) S/Sheet, Leave records are submitted
to Accounts Officer for advance review. d)
PIs/WIs are deputed to fill up the settlement
documents at the last working place of the
employee residence of the ex-employee.

ONR CASES

• e) On receipt of S/Sheet, settlement documents
  for Pension /Family Pension as the cases may be
  sanctioned and sent to Accounts along with other
  settlement dues for arrangement of payment and
  issuance of PPO.
• f) On receipt of PPO gratuity/DCRG bill issued
  in cases where railway Qrt are not under
  occupation of the ex-employee and free from
  Commercial Debit, departmental debit etc.

• No Claimant
• Non-vetted S/Sheets for intervening period of
  other Divn/Railway in case of IRT/IDT transfer
  cases.
• Extensive inquiry to ascertain the genuineness of
  claimant in case of missing.
• Un-authorized retention of Rly Qrt, Comml. /
  Store Debits

Minimisation of Delay

• S/Sheet to be maintained properly. Any
  irregularity should be rectified immediately by
  dealer. Divisional vetting should be final in
  case of transfer involved.
• Proper documentation/ Record of family
  composition, DOB with supporting document,
  nomination, Pass declaration - Manual/PRIME.
• iii. Acceptance of Rly. Record/otherwise in case
  of dispute, Certificate of Civil authority
  /Mutual disbursement among rivalry/ Succession
  certificate.
• iv. Co-operation of Unit/BOs.
• v. Modified internal procedure.
• No Claimant- notification in News
  paper/Internet.
• Advance Debit clearance.
• Eviction / DA Proceeding against unauthorized
  occupation,.
• No information received for 2nd marriage
  otherwise DA case can be initiated by BOs.
• Publication of all pending ONR cases through Divn
  Rly website.
