Recommendations

  • Create career pathways from ABE/ESOL and GED
    Programs to college. The pathways need to be easy
    to navigate and lead to jobs that will enable
    adults to support themselves and their families

Need to find ways to accelerate the
pace of instruction in Adult Education Centers
and Colleges and Universities

  • Need to formalize partnerships with
    employers in order to support incumbent workers
    continuing their education

Need intensive and intrusive support services
at the community and college level that lead to
the elimination of dispositional, situational,
and institutional barriers
