Why only 4 problems?

• If you can do 4 problems accurately, you probably
  have a good idea of how to do these types of
  problems, right? Lets spend our time on learning
  new concepts.
• If you are doing problems incorrectly, we want
  you to STOP and figure out your error before you
  do any more problems.

Step 3 Formative Test

• When you come to a formative test, do all of the
  problems from Test A.
• Have your teacher check your work.
• If you have 8 correct out of 10 (or 4 out of 5)
  you may go on to the next Unit.
• If you missed 3 or more, you must do Formative
  Test B.
• If you do not pass Test B, you must redo the unit.

Step 4 Cumulative Test

• When you come to the end of a book, you will have
  to complete a Cumulative Test.
• If you pass the test, you may go on to the next
  book.
• If you do not pass it, you will be asked to redo
  part or all of the book.
