Registry query tool

• An add on to CDS registry query tool
• (VOTech DS5)
• Registry query tool allows to browse the registry
  by UCD matching
• Find out list of catalogs
• Allows to add characterization information to the
  retrieved catalog
• In a further step this char metadata are added to
  a local copy of the registry for future query.?

Implementation 2Characterization retrieval from
Aladin server

• CDS Aladin server contains Schmidt plates images,
  IRAS-IRIS, 2MASS, GOODS and various other small
  collections
• IDHA interface still public in Aladin
• SIA prototype since 3 years unused
• Pointer to a first implementation of
  characterization just added.
• Possible Application search for asteroids on
  Schmidt plates
