Overview of the service
The purpose of the aggregation service is to
support the awarding of Diplomas.

• It records constituent results against each
  learner
• It aggregates these results applying rules of
  combination to determine if sufficient results
  have been achieved for a Diploma
• If sufficient results are achieved, it calculates
  a trial grade so the learner can decide whether
  to claim their Diploma
