Title: Huff Technologies Inc' is a designer
1- Huff Technologies Inc. is a designer
- and manufacturer of custom
- testing, inspection, assembly,
- and process equipment.
- We specialize in PC / PLC based systems to
assemble, machine, test, inspect, and process
your specific parts. - We serve the automotive, industrial
- and mining industries.
2The following is a brief history of our company
with articles and pictures of actual machinery
and systems we have designed and installed.
3A Brief History
- Darrel Huff Jr. initially founded Huff
Technologies Inc. in 1987. - Huff Technologies primarily consulted on and
manufactured specialized parts for the racing
industry. It was later expanded into
dynamometers and data acquisition systems. - In 1993, Huff Technologies added hydraulic
dynamometers for small engines to its line.
4- In 1998, the company purchased 3 acres of land
and built a 3200 sq. ft. facility. The company
began manufacturing industrial testing,
inspection, and processing equipment. - To meet increasing demand for industrial sales,
Huff Technologies added 10000 square feet with a
26' ceiling. This gave the company the ability
to build large equipment as well as needed floor
space.
5- In 2005, Huff Technologies purchased an
additional 6000 square foot building dedicated to
building larger automation systems.
6Industrial Test and Inspection Equipment
- Huff Technologies Inc is engaged in the
business of designing, building, installing, and
servicing custom industrial testing and
inspection equipment. The process starts with a
need by our customers to test/inspect in-
process, finished parts. - Huff Technologies Inc. works with the
customer to develop an idea or strategy to solve
the problem. Huff Tech then issues a quotation
or cost estimate to the customer. Upon acceptance
and agreement of terms we will then manufacture,
debug, and install the equipment. Startup,
technical help, service, and training may also be
provided.
7Automotive Test Systems
- Huff Technologies Inc. designs and builds
various engine and component testing and
inspections systems. Today's market demands
tight quality control and 100 inspection of
engines, components, and accessories. Field
failures and low quality components are costly to
repair and devastating to a company's reputation.
- Huff Technologies uses custom PC/PLC Data
acquisition and control solutions. In-house
software development capabilities are married to
various sensors, systems, and components to
provide creative solutions to your testing and
inspection needs.
8Industrial Process Machinery
- Huff Technologies Inc designs and builds custom
Industrial processing machinery. Working closely
with the customer Huff Technologies will design a
customized system for your process. Huff
Technologies will then build, debug, and install
the equipment in your facility. Training,
service, startup, and technical help are also
available. Huff Technologies uses a variety of PC
and PLC based control systems married to an
endless variety of mechanical components and
systems to deliver a custom solution.
9Engine and Chassis Dynamometers
- Huff Technologies Inc. has been in the business
of building dynamometer data acquisition systems
since 1989 and Engine dynamometers since 1993.
Starting with DOS-based systems running on "XT"
computers to the current Windows based
acquisition systems Huff Technologies Inc. prides
itself on providing very repeatable, user
friendly, and cost effective PC Based dyno data
acquisition systems. These systems consist of
hardware, software, and sensors that gather
engine data correct for weather and inertia, and
provide printed and plotted data for the user.
10- Starting in 1993, Huff Technologies Inc. began
offering hydraulic based small engine
dynamometers. - These dynos allow steady state and sweeping
tests on 2 and 4 stroke engines. Recently a
chassis version of these dynos has been provided
which allows motorcycles to be tested in steady
state road like conditions.
