• CONTEXT
• We are developing a business for building an
  airport at a S/E Asian destination to boost
  tourism at this destination. Today, this
  destination, an island, is serviced by boats of
  various speeds or through an airport on a nearby
  island. Having its own means air transport
  facilities would double the potential of tourist
  arrivals at this location in a 7-10 years time
  frame.
• PROJECT DESCRIPTION
• Due to limited space and availability of large
  parcels of real estate and environmental
  constraints, our airport caters only to small
  turbo prop aircraft (see below).
• Environment Tropical Picturesque setting
• General
• The location is tropical, as such the
  surroundings are covered with tropical vegetation
  including palm/coconut trees
• The land location that has been identified is
  fairly flat (will be flattened anyways) and has
  some hills around it.
• Parcel size
• For simplification purposes, we will retain that
  the land base is rectangular with an appendix
  that is the apron.
