22Monica Garcia Board President
As the budget crisis grew and grew, it was
sometimes difficult to keep our eyes on the
prize 100 percent proficiency and 100 percent
high school graduation. As we move forward, this
is still the goal. Despite our reduction in
personnel and resources, we must strive to honor
our commitment to our students, parents and
community members with LAUSD.
