• 1. Christ suffering means I can live without
  guilt and shame because my sins are forgiven.
• There is therefore now no condemnation to those
  who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk
  according to the flesh, but according to the
  Spirit. Romans 81 (NKJV)

• 2. Christ suffering means I can forgive others
  because Jesus has forgiven me.
• And be kind to one another, tenderhearted,
  forgiving one another, just as God in Christ
  forgave you. Eph 432 (NKJV)

• Five reasons we must forgive
• 1. Jesus modeled forgiveness.
• Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they
  do not know what they do." And they divided His

• 2. Jesus taught us to forgive.
• And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our

• 3. Forgiveness opens the flow of Gods
  forgiveness to us.
• For if you forgive men their trespasses, your
  heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if
  you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither
  will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matt

• 4. Forgiveness releases our faith.
• And whenever you stand praying, if you have
  anything against anyone, forgive him, that your

• 5. Not forgiving allows the enemy a place in our
  lives.

• There are three types of Forgiveness
• A. Those who hurt you.
• B. Those I have hurt
• C. Myself

• How to forgive others.
• A. Remember
• looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the
  grace of God lest any root of bitterness
  springing up cause trouble, and by this many
  become defiled Heb 1215 (NKJV)

• B. Be honest
• in Him at all times, you people Pour out your
  heart before Him God is a refuge for us. Psalms
  628 (NKJV)

• C. Choose to forgive.
• If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven
  them if you retain the sins of any, they are
  retained." John 2023 (NKJV)

• D. Intercede.
• Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they

• E. Admit your own sins.
• If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just
  to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all
  unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not
  sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not

• F. Release God from any blame.
• The foolishness of a man twists his way, And his

• G. Ask God to replace what was lost.
• But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
  longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
  23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there
  is no law. 24 And those who are Christ's have
  crucified the flesh with its passions and

• H. Renew your mind.
• And do not be conformed to this world, but be
  transformed by the renewing of your mind, that
  you may prove what is that good and acceptable
  and perfect will of God. Romans 122 (NKJV)

  who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and
  pray for those who spitefully use you and

• 3. Christ suffering means that I can persevere
  through ant difficulty, because Christ showed the
  way and lives in me.
• Jesus never gave up and neither should we!

• As you endure this divine discipline, remember
  that God is treating you as his own children. Who
  ever heard of a child who is never disciplined by

• A. Discouragement.

  earth is over I can spend eternity with God in
  heaven!
•  For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is
