Why Lean?

• Do nothing is not an option
• Having a system is better than leaving it to
  chance
• Results from elsewhere, and experience in Bolton
  of learning by trying
• Its practical it connects with staff at all
  levels and from all backgrounds
• The tools are effective but they also
  generate new attitudes to problem-solving ?
  culture change!
