  implementation of Self-Determination in Michigan
• Developed network to support consumers families
  in the pursuit of Self-Determination

• Individuals with disabilities their
  families do not have good information
  on how to go about doing
  Self-Determination.
• Consumers need to lead the movement for building
  demand for Self-Determination.

• Systems need to partner with others to build a
  more person friendly system of services and
  supports.
• Local advocates, allies and service providers are
  having difficulties building demand for
  Self-Determination in their local communities.
