How to do the task
  • You are expected to produce two samples of work.
    Work in Groups of four. Prepare
  • A PowerPoint presentation
  • A Newsletter
  • Brainstorm your possible information sources.
  • Scan Internet resources, Encarta, references and
    non-fiction books.
  • Note resources where you located relevant
    information.

Assessment
  • You will be assessed on the following aspects of
    the project
  • Presentation style, with correct use of text,
    pictures and other forms of multimedia.
  • Writing style, with correct spelling, punctuation
    and citations.
  • The value of information gathered.

Timeframes
  • The project will be divided into the following
    phases
  • Initial Discussion and Brainstorming. One period
    of 45 minutes-15/02/2007.
  • Conferences during the project to check on
    progress. Two sessions of 20 minutes-22/02/07
    10/03/07.
  • Final submission and presentation of projects.
  • Due date 15/03/2007
