7Inspections
- Importance of workplace inspections
- -1 Day to 3 Hours to inspect every workplace
(took action cut cords, disposed of broken
tools, equipment installed safety cabinets ,
lockout stations, spill kits and signage etc) - -Many deficiencies to minimal to none
- All members trained in inspections
- Rotate quarterly another set of eyes, avoids
complacency, all staff become familiar with all
workplaces - -HS Committee monthly, Managers monthly,
housekeeping inspections, Department Heads
Annually, CAO Quarterly All work places
annually - Joint inspections opened communications and
provided comfort level for employees to speak on
concerns.
A tidy work environment is a safety requirement!!
