• Our eyes tell us tons of information about our
  environment.
• Sometimes messages going from the eyes to the
  brain get confused.
• When that happens, we see an illusion!

Do you see fuzzy gray balls between the squares?

• Those balls are called an after image. Our
  brain cannot process the dark and light colors in
  the image fast enough and we see gray spots
  that arent really there.
