1
Report on Results
  • In-service Day 2

2
Results From
  • CAAP results
  • Outcomes Survey results
  • Departmental results
  • Exit exam study results

3
CAAP Results
  • The scores of the multiple choice exam can range
from 40 to 80, with 60 being average.
  • In every category and subgroup we were within 4
points of 60. The highest score was 63 (3.51 on
critical thinking) and the lowest was 56 (no
    response for education on reading).
  • Our students score near average for every
    category.

4
Score Comparison
5
Writing Essay Results
  • The National Norm of a 3 represents adequate
    writing ability

6
Matters of Diversity
  • There is no difference in scores with respect to
gender, age, or ethnicity. It appears that
standard demographics have no effect on results
    of our students performance.

7
CAAP Compass Score Links
  • Math 100 performed at or above expected
performance, with a sample size of 12.
  • Reading 82 performed at or above expected
performance, with a sample size of 66.

Student Motivation
  • The results show that student motivation clearly
effected their scores. There was a 3 to 4 point
difference between students who gave all or
moderate effort and those who gave little or no
    effort.

9
ESL Students
  • In all cases except Math, ESL students performed
2 to 4 points lower than the general Wright
population sample and the National norm.

10
