• The city of Ember is surrounded by darkness, the
  supplies that the town once thought were never
  going to run out are dwindling, the generator
  that provides the electricity to lamps, which are
  the only source of light, is on the brink of
  destruction, and a jumbled message in a black box
  may be the only hope the citizens have for
  survival.

  anybody who gives it a try will thoroughly enjoy
