Leaders (open to applicants throughout the SE
Region of U.S. and MCS) - Program aligned to TN Instructional Leadership
Standards (TILS) and Interstate School Leaders
Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) - Designed to develop a cadre of leaders committed
to eliminating the achievement gap - Teaching hospital concept

throughout the program and the first three years

Memphis and recognized by Tennessee Department of
Education

9Requirements Aspiring Assistant Principals
- Minimum of five years as a classroom teacher
w/positive evaluations - Masters degree-supervision and administration or
curriculum and instruction - TN Beginning or Professional Administrator
License
10RequirementsAspiring Principals
- Three years of successful experience as an
assistant principal or other comparable
leadership experience - Masters degree-supervision and administration or
curriculum and instruction - TN Beginning or Professional Administrator License

Assessment (30 fee) - Submission of assessment results
- External Applicants may complete a conference
call interview and online assignments. -

- All candidates that advance to interview must
bring three letters of recommendation to the
interview.

- Current Work Assignment may or may not serve as
Residency site - Current Supervisor will serve as SREB Certified
Mentor with rotations to other sites for specific
