• Understand and embrace the philosophies of a
  multiage classroom and continuous progress.
• Have an in depth knowledge and understanding of
  developmentally appropriate practices and
  implementation of multiage programs.
• Consider alternative scheduling or block
  scheduling.

• Design meaningful engaged learning opportunities
  which are open-ended divergent learning
  experiences in order for students to function at
  different levels.
• Know how and when to use different grouping
  strategies.

• Use authentic assessments in order for each child
  to express their learning in multiple ways not
  just mainly with paper and pencil.
• Ex. reading, writing, speaking listening,
  dancing, painting, drama, drawing, constructing.

  foster the students independent learning.
• Observe, listen, record, and plan for ways to
  facilitate the next stage in students progress.
