The Beginning

• The Date was the 18th of March, 1984. Cowra
  Hospital was the setting and birth was a given to
  a young boy, Michael Thomas Noble. He was the
  first child of Ross and Elizabeth Noble. I was
  then taken back to my home town of Canowindra
  where I would spend the next 18 years of my life.
  
• At an early age, I took my first step and spoke
  my first word. I was also brought up to support
  the Manly Sea Eagles as my father was a fanatical
  supporter of them. In a lot of my baby photos I
  was dressed in their jersey.
• Then the came the next step in my life which was
  Pre-School. I was sent to Pre-School at the early
  age of 3 as my brother had just arrived and my
  mother though it was time for me to start what
  would be my schooling career.

Primary School

• I started my schooling at Canowindra Primary
  School at the age of 4 in 1988. Here I had my
  first teacher, Mrs French. I did not start school
  well as I was small and was picked on a lot. But
  I over came this and started to interact with the
  other school children. Here I made friends which
  I still have most notably Todd, Danial and Craig.
  
• Then i progressed through the rest of the classes
  until I came to year 6. This was most notably my
  most productive year at Primary School, as I was
  no longer picked on and became school vice
  captain. During this time I realised my love for
  sport and every weekend I was playing either
  soccer, rugby league, cricket, squash or
  basketball.
• During this year also I started to become a
  trouble maker as I didnt get along with my
  teacher at all. I spent most of my lunch times on
  detention or picking up papers in the play
  ground.
• But the next stage of my life was to come and I
  can say for the least, probably the scariest as I
  would next year start the final stages of my
  schooling career which where to be high school.

Year 7 Year 9

• My first day of year 7 began in 1996 at
  Canowindra High School. I well remember this day
  as my peer support leaders hung me upside down
  over a balcony in our school by my ankles and
  threatened me to let them go. Also we had a new
  school bully in our class from Gooloogong and he
  found it extremely fun to pick on me. I remember
  going home and telling my parents I did not want
  to go back!
• But I was sent back and realised I would just
  have to get over and I started to have fun. I was
  keen on the sports and at any possible chance I
  would go to a sporting events. This year I
  managed to make it to state for swimming and
  athletics.
• I soon grew up and the next thing I realised, I
  was about to start year 10. this was meant to be
  the best year of your schooling career and I
  looked forward to it with anticipation.

Year 10

• This year I started to become closer to my
  friends and I was introduced to a little
  substance called alcohol. We all used to make
  excuses to our parents stating that we were going
  round to a mates place when in fact we where
  really going to get on the grog. We all had a few
  experiences this year!!!
• Then the next thing I now we where told we would
  have to start studying as we had our School
  Certificate coming up. This didnt happen as I
  was determined to go to year 12 and I did little
  study towards it. Still I managed to get good
  marks.
• The formal was now just around the corner and we
  all looked forward to this as it was a chance to
  dress up and then go to the after party and all
  make a mess of ourself.
• Year 10 ended and a lot of mates left and got
  apprentence ships. The next year was going to be
  different as I all my friends where leaving and I
  was going to be one of the only boys in year 11.
  Maybe this would be a good thing!!!!

Year 11 12

• The Millennium had just started and I had just
  started my senior schooling career. As it ended
  up, there where to be 22 girls in my class and 10
  boys. This would make to be interesting times as
  most of the girls didnt really want to know me.
• But I come about my senses and become a good
  friend to all. I was very well respected in year
  11 and this carried through to year 12 as I was
  elected school vice captain (the captain was a
  teachers son!!).
• Year 12 was the make or break year and our
  teachers put a lot of pressure on us. But, I was
  interested in things such as going out and girls
  that I didnt study much!
• Then 6 weeks before my exams, I worked out what I
  wanted to do and become focused on achieving a
  UAI of 70. I wanted to go to Charles Sturt
  University and study Human Movement and become a
  P.E. Teacher.

After Year 12 University

• After the exams I went straight to work and spent
  about 2 months working as a grocery hand. During
  this time, I was sort of looking forward to
  seeing how I went in my exams.
• Finally the marks where released and I had done
  better than expected. The next day my UAI came
  out and I had enough to get into University. I
  just had another long wait to see if I had got
  in.
• Then finally in January, I found out I was
  accepted into my first choice and I had achieved
  my goal.
• Then came O-Week. University was a huge place and
  I was taken in Oar. But I was really getting into
  it (particularly the social aspect) and met a few
  friends along the way and a lot of nice looking
  girls.
• I do not regret any decisions I may have made in
  my life and I look forward to the next few years
  and finishing university.
