• Challenge
• Luxembourgs Broadcasting Centre Europe is an
  organization that provides clients technical
  services in the fields of TV, radio, telecom and
  IT
• BCE and the National Archive of Luxembourg were
  asked to combine their audiovisual archives
• At the same time, BCE must upgrade its outdated
  systems.
• Organizational Impact
• The organizations scope of record keeping had
  expanded
• With the request to combine archives with the
  National Archive, they now had to be able to keep
  a record of all the information from the national
  archives including, film, pictures, graphic
  copies of paper records, etc.
• Solution
• BCE employed Front Port Digitals DIVAnet and
  DIVArchive systems to seamlessly combine both
  databases for easy access and replication
• Solution Impact
• An almost completely self-monitoring and
  seamlessly links AND combines the two archives
• The physical space required for the system is
  about one tenth the original
• Dynamic search and automated replication of
  stored materials
