- Common Ground Iowa (CGI) is a regional partner
of the Common Ground Alliance (CGA). The CGI's
purpose is to promote public safety through
damage prevention and shared responsibility,
while utilizing the CGAs Best Practices
for advancing underground utility safety across
Iowa. The CGI is a not-for-profit
organization.

maintenance, construction, and protection of
underground facilities.
