• Whales are the mammals of the sea.Whales are some
  of the biggest life-forms ever.Whales are
  separated into 2 groups.These groups are
• Toothed and Baleen.We shall look at the toothed
  whales first.

Toothed Whales

• Toothed whales areyou guessed it!Toothed whales
  are whales that have teeth.These are the more
  savage whales.First we will look at the False
  Killer Whale, then we will look at the Melon
  Headed Whale.

False Killer Whale

• The False Killer Whale is the exact opposite of
  the Killer Whale, or Orca.The False Killer Whale
  is one of the many whales called blackfish.The
  False Killer Whale mainly eats either fish or
  squid.

Melon-Headed Whale

• The Melon-Headed Whale is another blackfish.it is
  called the Melon-Headed Whale because its head is
  shaped like a melon.It eats mostly small fish and
  is found in tropical regions.

Baleen Whales

• Baleen Whales are the exact opposite of Toothed
  Whales.They are also MUCH BIGGER than Toothed
  Whales.

Fin Whale

• The Fin Whale is one of the rarest Baleen
  Whales.It was one of the most commonly hunted
  whales.It lives in warm areas,and,like all
  whales,is very interesting.

Bowhead Whale

• Like the Fin Whale, the Bowhead Whale was
  commonly hunted.It lives in tropical
  waters,and,like all Baleen Whales,has
  callosities(thick,white patches of skin).
