- An analysis of the successful round 1 LEGI bids
demonstrates their remarkable similarities. Each
sets out to achieve pervasive enterprise that
addresses 3 LEGI requirements to - Increase total entrepreneurial activity among the
population in deprived local areas (e.g.
outreach, person centred, VCS role, active labour
market policy) - Support the sustainable growth and reduce the
failure rate of locally owned business in
deprived area (e.g. micro firm support,
connection to opportunity). - Attract appropriate inward investment and
franchising into deprived areas (e.g. franchises
market maker, under-served markets, image, and
workspace).
