PoC concepts Answer mode

• Answer mode refers to the mechanism used by the
  UAS to accept an INVITE request for a PoC
  session.
• Manual answer mode
• The user is alerted
• UAS generates 180 Ringing back to the UAC.
• User accepts and 200 OK is generated back to the
  UAC.
• Auto-answer mode
• UAS starts playing media immediately.
• 200 OK is generated back to the UAC immediately.
• Manual answer override mode
• Dont give a dime of the answer mode of the UAS
  and behave like if Auto-answer mode had been
  chosen.

PoC concepts Incoming Session Barring

• Sometimes also referred to as Do Not Disturb.
• The user sets the UA so that incoming PoC
  sessions are automatically rejected.
• The feature operates independently of other SIP
  sessions, messaging, alerts, etc.

PoC Concepts Instant Personal Alert Barring

• Instant Personal Alert Alice sends an instant
  message (Instant Personal Alert) to Bob to
  request the establishment of a one-to-one PoC
  Session.
• Instant Personal Alert Barring The UAS is not
  willing to receive Instant Personal Alerts.
