Suppose you release the ball and allow it to drop
a distance of a1. Then it bounces to a height of
a2 and falls again. Then it bounces to a height
of a3 and falls again.
This first part doesnt really happen!

• Some people average all the an/an-1 ratios.

  infinite geometric series.
