Santa and his children

• Vättarna is living under the ground. They
  were only noticed when they got irritated. They
  could send diseases to the children. On the
  cottages they were called vittror. A special
  kind of vättar lived in mines. Maybe Astrid
  Lindgrens rumpnissar in Ronja the Robbers
  daughter is a form of vättar.

• The brownie is small and alone and is living
  on every farm. Hes dressed in grey warm clothes.
  Wears clogs or skinboots on his feet and a red
  woollen hat on his head.
