Hartman was built in 1963. In 2013, it will be
50 years old. Some of the older parts of Hartman
Elementary have special needs that need to be
addressed.

Carpeting is stained, torn or rippling throughout
the building. Tile flooring is lifting at the
joints.

The rubber gym floor is over 20 years old, and it
needs to be replaced.

Floor and bench coverings need to be updated, and
lighting in gymnasium needs to be updated.

Chalk boards need to be replaced, exposed cabling
needs to be revamped, and the bathrooms need
additional upgrades.

Public announcement system (located on the stage)
needs to be replaced with a more efficient and
secure unit.
