Brazil is a country located in eastern South
America that is 3,286,478 square miles. It is so
big, That it borders every but two countries in
South America. The capital city is Brasilia, but
the largest city is Sao Paulo. The main language
is Portuguese.

The population is about 165,000,000. Brazil uses
Real as a monetary unit that is equal to 100
centavos. Brazilians eat African and Amerindian
and some Portuguese foods, but every region has a
special dish. Brazilians love soccer, and Brazil
has won five World Cups.

The Amazon Basin has extreme humidity during the
year and is about 85 degrees. The Atlantic coast
has mild weather. It receives about 40 to 60
inches of rainfall. In the year 2000 census,
73.8 of people said the were Roman Catholics and
15.4 were pentecostalists and is still growing.

Brazil produces soybeans, coffee, beans, rice,
cassava, cacao, sugar, corn, oranges, bananas,
pineapples, tobacco, cotton, livestock and
livestock products. Brazil manufactures lots of
things, including processed foods, textiles,
steel, motor vehicles, chemicals, television
sets, paper and other wood products.
Mineral--iron ore, manganese, bauxite, chrome,
nickel, gemstones, uranium, salt, lead, and gold.
