- Until Recently the Coast Guard was the
- Only Armed Service without a Mobilization System
- We were using archaic, antiquated paper systems
and spreadsheets - There was no uniform way of tracking mobilized
resources - There was duplication of efforts, CG wide
- There was miscommunication amongst CG units
- Reporting was very difficult

- Chief of Staff gives go ahead on 6 July 2006
- Version 1.1 deployment 1 April 2008
- Mixed use of MRTT during Gustav Ike Responses
- Version 1.2 deployed 14 October 2008
- Version 1.3 scheduled to deployed 2 February 2009
- Version 1.4 and 1.5 by April and June 2009
respectively - Transfer PM of MRTT to CG-1 by 1 July 2008

utilizing - Approximately 700 AC, RC, and Civilians processed
into MRTT - MLCA using MRTT on daily basis
