Introduction

• For the last three weeks of term 3 some grade 6s
  at BPS were given PDAs to test how they could
  help with our work, a PDA is a portable miniature
  computer.
• PDA stands for Personal Digital Assistant

WHAT WE DID ON THE PDAS

• Play PDA games
• Bluetooth each other files
• Publish work on word
• Research on the internet
• Record sound
• Looked up the weather on the net for maths

When We Used Our PDAs

• To help with maths using the calculator
• At Home to help with homework
• During literacy to type up work
• For Integrated studies with researching

Good things about the PDAs

• Internet
• Word
• Recorder
• Notepad
• Transcribing
• Stylus

Things that could be improved

• The PDA should have the PAINT program on it
• In powerpoint you couldnt make them, just play
  them
• Word wouldnt always get the word or letter
  right, even on keyboard
• It was to hard to download items both ways
• It had extremely limited memory
