pass through distinct stages in their life cycle
including Growth, Survival, Reproduction.

It all begins with a
SEED!

When the seed has what it needs to grow
Water
Soil
Heat

It begins to
GERMINATE
(Sprout, start growing)

The seed breaks open and a young plant or
SEEDLING
appears.
7
The
ROOTS
dig down into the soil for
NUTRIENTS.

The seedling breaks through the soil and
LEAVES
form.
9
The baby plant still needs all the things it
needed as a seed, and sunlight.
10
The plant will grow up to make more seeds and the
cycle will start again.
