  • Digital forms of the arts 24 of people have
    visited web sites or used CD-ROMs on arts or
    culture in the past 6 months. This is a
    significant share of those online (37 of those
    with any form of access).
  • There is a large disparity by socio-demographic
    group (AB41,DE12).

Interest in Culture Online
  • 29 of adults were interested in the idea
  • 62 of those who have used digital forms of arts
    and culture over the last six months were
    interested, and 17 of those who have not
  • 41 of those who have attended a cultural event
    over the last six months were interested, and 15
    of those who have not. The 15 translates into
    2.4 million adults in England
  • 37 of groups AB were interested and 22 of
    groups DE were interested.
  • 38 of people with internet access were
    interested, and 16 of those without
