  • The Office of School Social Work Service, in
    collaboration with the Luxottica Gift of Sight
    program will contribute to the successful
    education of all children by removing vision as a
    barrier to learning.

    invited to facilitate the Lenscrafter Vision Van
    Mission in the Detroit area
  • February 1999
  • - The Office of School Social Work Service
    entered into a partnership with LensCrafters to
    deliver vision services to pre-screened needy
    children of Detroit Public Schools
  • May 1999
  • - Great Lakes Bldg 800 children received free
    eye exams and glasses
  • May 2000
  • - Oak Grove AME Church 600 Children
    received vision services
