Now about me

• Mike McGuire
• Married with a three-year-old son named Aidan
• Grew up down the street in Mt. Greenwood but live
  in the western suburbs currently
• M.A. in Rhetoric and Composition from NEIU
• B.A. from UIC, double major in English and
  psychology
• Third year at MVCC
• Taught 2 years prior to MVCC at Kishwaukee
  College
• Before that another 2 years part-time at
  Waubonsee Community College
• Worked in the IT/management consulting industry
  during that time in knowledge management,
  communications, and corporate education
• Taught English as a foreign language in Japan
• As a teacher, I hold my students to high
  standards of excellence, but I will do all that I
  can to help them succeed (because I know they can)
