GOALS
Main Goal promoting and supporting womens
active participation in the local economic
development processes

• support the development of common approaches and
  quality services in order to promote the skills
  and potential of women, especially those living
  in alpine areas

• develop a stable co-operation network among the
  Resource Centres for Women of the Alpine Space

• develop common approaches, test services and
  implement innovative initiatives aimed at
  promoting rural womens full participation in
  economic and social life

• to provide women with technical assistance and a
  quality support to guarantee that they have equal
  access to local and regional resources

• promoting co-operation among public and private
  local development actors on a gender based
  approach.

EXPECTED RESULTS
Activities at both local and transnational level
are finalised to ensure four essential
conditions, linked to the general expected
results

• 1) the possibility of accessing information

2) the possibility of accessing resources
3) the opportunity to create a real individual
professional development (thus broadening
personal career choices and overcoming
stereotypes and discrimination factors)
4) strong co-operation and gender mainstreaming
actions at institutional and socio-economic level

BENEFICIARIES female population of disadvantaged
alpine space areas and also the system of the
actors involved in local development
