Prehistory
  • Early 1993
  • CDC Connects had an article on the CDC
    Toastmasters.
  • Gave us permission to start our own club.
  • Peter Shaw sent out a global e-mail for
    interested people to start a club.
  • Had been a member of a previous club.
  • Organizational meeting
  • Davis, Brown, Ahrenholz, Shaw, Simon, ?

Prehistory 2
  • Decided to ask Jim McGlothlin to be our mentor.
  • Jim belonged to the hugely successful Anderson
    Hills TM
  • Helped put on a demo meeting in February, 1993.
  • Organizing committee put up the 75 for the new
    club kit.
  • Signed up 20 members and chartered April 16, 1993.
