• Change must be properly managed so that concerns
  dont lead to a situation that prevents the
  successful operation of the new system.

Management strategies for change include

• Involve employees keep employees informed of
  plans. Allow them to raise problems and make
  suggestions. This will make them feel ownership
  of the new system.
• Explain benefits a competitive firm will lead
  to job security. Mundane tasks will be done by
  the computer. People can then deal with tasks
  that require intelligence and insight.
• Training employees need to be made aware of any
  necessary training that they will be required to
  do. New skills will make them more marketable.
