DirectX Drawing for Speed

• Wow BMS uses the latest drawing technology,
  DirectX. DirectX allows the graphics to draw
  very quickly with very little use of the
  processor time. It also gives Wow BMS a
  ergonomical multimedia appearance for
  customer/user acceptance.

Built-in JavaScript Engine

• It has a built in JavaScript engine, the number 1
  scripting language, with editor. Through the use
  of scripting any project requirement can be met,
  i.e. Intelligent complex objects. This allows
  for scalability and reduction in project
  requirements turnaround.

Dynamic Client/Server

• Each workstation can take over Server
  responsibilities if the actual server goes down.
  The responsibilities are dynamic data
  distribution and initialization of newly found
  workstations in the network, and reporting of
  system failures.

Redundant Standalone Distributed Data

• Since each workstation is a standalone system,
  other failures do not interfere with system use
  and stability. This is achieved through complete
  online data distribution over the network. Each
  station has all data that is required for it to
  run, no dependencies. If one workstation goes
  down none of the others are effected.

OPC Client Connectivity

• OPC (OLE for Process Control) allows for any OPC
  Server to be connected with minimal
  configuration. Currently there is an OPC Server
  for just about any device, since Wow BMS is based
  on this it understands the many configurational
  problems and allows scalable configuration
  through scripting or simple conversion tables.
  Device controlling is also achieved through
  scripting, making it easy to create a rich
  interactive user interface.

Built-in Graphic Editor

• Wow BMS comes with a very high quality graphic
  editor allowing for simple to complex changes
  within a very short time. The editor has a
  intuitive interface allowing any level of user to
  use it. This means outsourcing of mundane tasks
  to students or part time employees.

Frames for Layout

• Wow BMS is based on frames allowing the system
  configurator to layout, per workstation, the best
  possible use of monitors and filtering of
  information.

User Internationalization

• Wow BMS is 100 international, each user can be
  assigned a language and the complete user
  interface changes over to his/her preferred
  language, this also includes the text in
  graphics. This is done by login on-the-fly.
