Electronic ordering for diagnostic, therapeutic,
pharmaceutical, medical and surgical patient
services and incorporates best practice
information into multi-disciplinary order sets.
By placing orders for diagnostic services,
referrals for therapeutic, medical and surgical
services, requests for approvals of certain
restricted medications and prescriptions for
inpatient, outpatient and discharge medications
utilising a standard format, will improve the
accuracy of ordering and reduce delays and
errors.
